WORLD CUP: Kewell injury update
Liverpool winger Harry Kewell has told the Socceroos medical staff that he's confident his groin injury will not wreck his hopes of playing for Australia in Kewell will not travel to Australia for Thursday-week's friendly against Greece but looks likely to join the Australia squad at their Dutch training camp on May 27th.
Football Federation Australia high performance manager John Boultbee said: "Our (Manchester-based) physio Les Gelis will see Harry soon and assess the situation.
"Harry's had awful luck in the big finals. Our aim is now to work hard with him and make sure we get him right for Germany."
Australia's opening match is against Japan on June 12th.
Germany next month.
