| Champions are not those who never fail, They are those who never quit.
Life can never offer anyone anything he or she did not contest for. It is a battle where one has to advance and pull off all the hindrances in ones way.

I am down into quite a lot of things however i will just write down those that turn me on.
Music is something which is part of me. I love listening to nice slow sounds as long as the songs are not offensive from either religious perpective or morally. Spiritual music puts me where i belong, ya! It brings me closer to the giver of life and the sustainer of all things. Play me one spiritual song and you are assured of seeing a smile playing on my lips.
As music is playing, i love to write on various issues of life. i depict these issues through poems, short stories or articles. i really love writing cause is the only medium i manage freely to get things out of my system and reach out to people who are physically unreachable.
All work no play really makes jack a dull boy, after busy hectic days of tiring the intellectual muscles, i often love to do some gardening at home, stretch my muscles by doing moderately strenuous exercise and sometimes playing basketball.
I am also down into games, talk of chess, draft and bao to an amarteur extent. I also love any video game which takes much of your brains when playing it. This makes me feel good |

| UNTOLD STORY ABOUT SAM WALOTA | Oct. 22, 2005 |
|
He is a young man weighing about 50 kilogrammes and standing about 1.69metres above the ground. He was born the same day the legendary reggae king Bob Marley died, 11 May, 1981.
He is the second from last born from a pool of six sisters and two brothers.
He did his primary school at Mphande Primary school. This school lies along the M1 road leading to Mocambique, and it is situated to the west of the Kirk range which stretches through Mwanza, and to the east is Mphande hill.In 1995 he wrote his Primary School Leaving Certificate. Not only did he pass but he was also among the 15 people selected to go to government secondary school. He was selected to Mwanza Secondary School. He felt quite on top of the world since being selected to a secondary school in those days was a clear testimony not only of your dedication but a clear declaration that one was a genius.
After that he went to The malawi Polytechnic where he did his course in laboratory technology (2001-2004). During his time at the Polytechnic, he had a feel of what it means to work in a laboratory as he had been attached to Bvumbwe agricultural Research Station for two months in , Malawi Bureau of Standards for two months, Mwanza district hospital for a month, Blantyre Diagnostic Laboratory for one month
In January, 2005 he started working as a laboratory Technician at Southern bottlers limited, a beverage manufacturing industry. One and half years down the line, he is working as an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

SAMSON absorbed in his own world of microbiology.
In the first picture sam is busy figuring if the bacteria is gram positive or negative and also looking closely at the morphology and colour of the bacteria in a bid to know the bacteria at the end of the tunnel.
The second one, he is busy innoculating bacteria into urea medium to find out if the bacteria is proteus or not.
It almost seems to him that science is a game of numbers, no doubt he salutes Lord Kelvin when he said:
"IF YOU CAN MEASURE WHAT YOU ARE SPEAKING ABOUT AND EXPRESS IT IN NUMBERS YOU KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT, BUT IF YOU CAN NOT MEASURE IT, IF YOU CAN NOT EXPRESS IT IN NUMBERS, YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS OF MEAGRE AND UNSATISFACTORY KIND, IT MAY BE THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE BUT YOU HAVE SCARCELY IN YOUR THOUGHTS ADVANCED TO THE STAGE OF SCIENCE"

My world of Writing
Sam loved writing so much so that at one time he cherished dreams of becoming a journalist. This dream was sparked when he was at Mwanza Secondary School when he pioneered the formation of the writers club there in 1998.
As he was finishing there in 1999, he was awarded two certificates of recognition, one as the Best English writer and second, as the Best Chichewa student.
In October 2001, he won the first prize in a poetry competition that was organised by power 101 FM. The poem was entittled "Amayi". Accordingly the competition was targetted towards mothers day
I have many unpublished poems with some which have seen the light of day in the weekend nation and Malawi news |
