The display bezel and the area around the keyboard is a contrast to the matt exterior. They are underlined by a (black) high-gloss finish and create striking optics. A drawback of the high-gloss finish is the susceptibility for scratches, dust and fingerprints that can't be avoided. Asus uses the advantage of the AMD components and extends the connectivity. The power socket for the included adapter, a VGA out for older monitors or projectors, a USB 2.0 port and a modern HDMI port are found on the left. A modern TV set or AV receiver can be connected via the HDMI port, which many Intel netbook users dream of. The communication configuration is extensive. There is hardly anything left to be desired with this configuration. The dummy slot for a SIM card is available due to the standardized case for every Eee PC 1015 model. The scope of delivery is sparse. The matching adapter with power cable, a warranty card and various manuals are found beside the netbook. Beside the design, Asus has also kept the tried and proven chiclet keyboard and touchpad. The touchpad's surface is also covered in a matt coating, which conveys a velvety feel. The useable diagonal is still a generous 8.7 centimeters, HP 484171-001whereby separate scrolling fields don't exist. The use is considerably simplified due to multi-touch support. The touchpad's settings options and the multi-touch gestures' functionality are good. The mouse replacement keys are hidden in a large control bar. The pressure point is agreeable, but the key noise varies depending on the fingers placement.HP 485041-001

Matt display with good ratesAsus sticks to the Eee PC 1015 line and still relies on a matt 10.1 inch display. However, the screen (type: HSD03E9) doesn't have an interpolated (higher) resolution. Thus, there are only the standard resolutions of 800x600 and 1024x600 pixels (native) available. Asus doesn't offer an optional display with a native resolution of 1366x768 pixels.HP 485041-003

The entire display surface is illuminated by small LEDs. They provide good brightness rates in the upper third of netbooks tested by us. However, a strong brightness decline of about 40 cd/m2 is noticed in the lower display third. This difference is fortunately not visible to the eye.   The brightness distribution of the entire surface (79 percent) turns out average due to the great fluctuation. A black value of 0.25 cd/m2 makes a good black reproduction possible and the resulting contrast (1004:1) is a major plus for the display and outdoor use. The good display rates allow outdoor use. Direct light, or rather sunlight, aren't a problem and the content remains legible. Nevertheless, the displayed colors noticeable lose brilliance. A shady place would be perfect because you hardly notice a difference to interiors. Basically, it's a good solution for mobile use, although the reflective display bezel is irritating.HP 497694-001

The viewing angle stability is average. The horizontal stability is stable up to narrow angles and there are no color falsifications. In return, vertical movements of the user show a less stable display. Colors deviate already at about 20 to 30 degrees and the image increasingly looks like a negative.HP 498482-001

AMD has started a counterattack on the wide mass of Intel netbooks. The heart in the Asus Eee PC 1015T is a AMD V105 that works with a clock rate of 1.2 GHz in one computer core. HP EV06055 Thus, it's actually a bit slower than comparable processors from Intel. This configuration's major advantage could be the dedicated ATI Radeon HD 4250-graphics unit. Thus it only lags slightly behind devices with Nvidia's ION 2 or ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics unit. The benchmarks results are very close in this field, but the subjective performance under Windows 7 with a 1 GB RAM is impressive. Asus uses 2.5 inch hard disk from Western Digital for the memory medium. Rates rendered by HDTune Pro certify the HDD an adequate performance. This drive supplies enough performance for everyday with a maximum transfer rate of 81.9 MB per second (read mode). Rendering HD videos is not possible for most netbook users. In this case, the Asus Eee PC 1015T benefits from the strong graphics unit. We have looked at both the trailer from "Wall Street - Money Never Sleeps" on YouTube and local HD rendering with a H.264 video.HP HSTNN-UB73

Playing a normal SD video (854x480/1056 Kbps) and a 720p variant (1280x720/1056 Kbps) via YouTube run without problems,HP HSTNN-XB72 although the processor capacity is at 58, respectively 82 percent. Even a 1080p video (1920x1080/1056 kps) runs smoothly with the occasional picture freeze. Video in a low resolution run at constant 30 fps smoothly. The trailer runs smoothly in 1080p most of the time. However a frame rate of 18 fps on average isn't optimal. Local playing of a H.264 HD video is apparently easy for the built in components. "Big Buck Bunny" runs smoothly in all three resolutions and the CPU capacity is at 25 percent maximum (average rate). Barnes & Noble offers a number of streaming music options, including Grooveshark, Pandora, Rhapsody, and Napster (which is merging with Rhapsody). The Nook Tablet comes pre-loaded with its own built-in browser, Charger for Asus A42-U46 which supports the Webkit rendering standards and mobile Flash, while sporting a nice clean user interface. The browser's simple bar contains only a back button, address bar, bookmarks button, and a menu button that allows you to open a new window, view bookmarks, refresh, or go to settings. With a fantastic eReading experience, the best selection of interactive children's books, and a newsstand chock-full of magazines, the $249 Nook Tablet is the ultimate color eReader. We prefer the display on this device to the Fire, and we experienced less lag in everyday use. This was the case in every metric except sustained reads and writes, in which the Vertex RAID clocked close to 900MB/s reads and 550MB/s writes. Samsung NF310: Dual-Core advantage without battery life disadvantageSamsung has assembled an optically and technically interesting 10.1 inch Netbook for 395 Euros with the NF310. The performance advantage (57% CPU benchmark, 31% total performance) thanks to the Atom dual core N550 (2 x 1.5 GHz), makes a good impression providing for smoother operating compared to the N450/N455. The extravagant design is also a plus point should users wish to be conspicuous. The touchpad is easy to operate, although the well laid out keyboard is missing a good feedback due to an unclear pressure point. Lenovo ThinkPad L520 NWB53GEThe notebook: The 15.6 inch L520 was already sent into the race in the first half of 2011 with first rate input devices, the lowest emissions and very good battery runtimes. The workmanship is of high quality, the chassis is solid and the input devices equal those of the EliteBook perfectly. Some users will be upset about the keyboard layout though. Mobile users take delight in a battery life of still 4:38 hours and a UMTS module. However poor display hinges, a pliable case and a glare type screen make the 14 inch laptop to a no go for corporate professionals. Subwoofer, USB 3.0, colorful looks and multimedia configurations (graphics and quad core) serve the customer. A generous, illuminated keyboard, the matt screen, low waste heat and good connectivity (not only) appeals to office workers. The latter could however be bothered by the noise development during load and the partly unsatisfactory stability of the case. HP ProBook 4530sThe notebook: The 15.6 inch ProBook fuses a basic design, good stability and convincing input devices with a numpad for starting at 590€. The scope of interfaces, however, is meager without USB 3.0 and docking port (but with ExpressCard). The HD screen (optionally HD+, 1600x900) is at least anti-reflective though it has poor contrasts and viewing angles.Fujitsu ST5031D  Battery

Samsung Serie 4 400B5BThe notebook: Samsung sets up a round business bundle that is only noticed adversely with its poor screen (contrast, viewing angles) and, acer One D250 Battery on the side, wobbly display hinges. Keyboard and touchpad (incl. pointstick) are ThinkPad equals and there is even a docking port on the bottom. Use in the sun is possible due to a battery life of five hours and the very bright screen. The 3G module for Internet on the go works perfectly.acer One D250  Battery

The buyer: Is looking for a built-in UMTS, an outdoor suitable TFT and first rate input devices at an attractive price. Gaming isn't an issue.acer 5235   Battery

Toshiba Tecra R850-11PThe notebook: The 15.6 R850 and 14 inch R840 are both very quiet and generate little waste heat. Both have a long battery life of 6:30 hours and matt screen.
  Unfortunately, the contrasts and viewing angles are very poor. The performance with a Core i5 and without a dedicated graphics is clearly aimed at professional applications (not games). The R840 and the R850 are available with UMTS/3G. A docking port is standard. Samsung NP-P50 Battery

Asus relies on a Western Digital Scorpio Blue (model: WD2500BEVT-80A23T0) with a gross capacity of 250 GB for the data memory. HD Tune Pro 4.6 determined a maximum transfer rate of 82.4 MB per second. This result is supported by CrystalDiskMark 3.0 (80.8 MB per second). A faster drive isn't needed in routine use. DPC Latency CheckerThe latencies have to be rated negatively under Windows 7 Starter (32bit). We checked these with the "DPC Latency Checker" tool. We noticed spikes in the red (negative) field regularly after a short time. With rate beyond 1000µs there will likely be problems with peripherals. The Asus Eee PC 1015PN is predestined for HD material due to its strong hardware. It's similar with flash HD videos via YouTube. We looked at the latest movie trailer of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" for this. The hardware is hardly demanded as an SD video (CPU capacity: 12 percent). The trailer also runs smoothly in 720p (1280x544 pixels, 1761 kbps) and 1920x 816 pixels, 949 kbps). However, the frame rate of a constant 24 fps could be higher.Overall a good result, whereas an upgrade to 2 GB of RAM is recommendable because 500 to 600 MB of the available 1 GB is constantly burdened.Asus A52J Battery

We looked at the pure gaming performance with a few well-known games. Asus A52JB Battery We played both older games from 2004, as well as new games, such as StarCraft II - Wings of Liberty. The Eee PC is impressive in minimum settings in almost all games and rendering is smooth. The popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft (WoW), convinces with a full 48.6 fps and runs without problems.Asus A52JC Battery The comparable Asus Eee PC 1015PEM with an Intel GMA 3150 only provides 5 fps in the same setting and a smooth game play isn't possible. Gaming is usually smooth in medium details, but single frame hang-ups and longer booting times can't be avoided. The 1015PN is worth considering for casual gamers. The low resolution and detail level won't suit everyone, though.Asus A52JK Battery

The component's warm waste air is emitted by a small fan to the outside. The soundscape is slightly higher because of the strong hardware. Nevertheless, it is still within limits for a netbook. We could determine a maximum of 38.7 dB(A) under load and the netbook is very audible. You have to make a compromise between performance and ergonomics in this application field. The installed 2.5 inch drive works inconspicuously with 33.2 dB(A) underneath the wrist-rest.Asus A62 Battery

The temperature development is an an important aspect for mobile devices. The Eee PC 1015PN's cooling works well, but there are a few outliers. We measured 34.2 degrees Celsius on the bottom during normal usage. A temperture increase is either not at all or only slightly perceptable. Thus, the ergonomics aren't impaired.Asus B53 Battery

The waste heat climbs considerably under load and a maximum rate of 41.2 degrees Celsius is reached. The ergonomics are impaired by this temperature in the long run. The loudspeakers haven't been modified and thus two stereo loudspeakers are still used. The speakers supply very dominant high pitches and the deep pitches, alike the basses, don't exist. The use of external loudspeakers is recommendable for a better audio playback. The 1015PN has a 3.5mm stereo jack and the HDMI out for this purpose. We disabled the mobile technologies and selected the minimum display brightness for this test. Energy can be additionally saved via Microsoft Windows 7 Starter's energy savings functions and Asus' "Super Hybrid Engine". A good 6 hours and 50 minutes are possible with enabled "High Performance Graphics". It's recommendable to use the incorporated Intel GMA 3150 in this case. The loss, in comparison to the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM, is about 40 minutes and thus acceptable. A drawback of the lower priced 1015PN is the manual graphics switching since you have to decide for one graphics. The Asus Eee PC 1015PN is impressive in many areas that many netbook users have missed.Asus K42JB Battery Among others, the smooth HD reproduction, a certain amount of gaming ability and a good, matt 10.1 inch display. The input devices and the case still receive a positive grade, although the color variety has been cut back. The combination of the new Intel Atom N550 with the dedicated Nvidia ION 2 graphics unit, and the option of switching to the internal processor graphics is convincing. Further advantages are the installed HDMI port and the good battery life in various conditions. The device has no need to hide with a maximum of 9 hours and 20 minutes in idle mode. The real-time strategy game needs strong GPU support and a fast multi-core processor in high and highest resolutions (navigating and AI of many small units). Football fun has only recently found its way into the game benchmarks. Because it only has a low demand on hardware, Fifa 2011 is very suitable for weak graphics solutions, such as HD 5470. The HD 5650, of course, doesn't have a hard time and provides smooth 41 fps even in ultra details and Full HD resolution. Nevertheless, games in Full HD shouldn't be on the agenda. High performance notebooks may occasionally be a bit louder without having to fear that editors degrade them massively right away. Instead it fluctuates leisurely up to 39.2 dB(A) every 60 seconds. The quite short battery life isn't surprising because the battery capacity of 39 watt hours (3500 mAh) is estimated very tightly. We also suspect a high power consumption. The multimeter confirms this to a part.Asus X42JK

The test device needs a minimum of 13.5 watts (idle, maximum energy savings). When the energy settings are set to "high performance" in idle (enabled wireless modules, maximum brightness), the CPU doesn't clock down and the power consumption increases to 25.1 watts.Asus X42JE

When the Core i5-460M and the HD 5650 compute full power (stress test), the power consumption climbs to 70.4 watts. However, such a high power consumption isn't achieved even in 3D games, as the measurement during 3DMark06 shows: 49.4 watts.Asus X42JB

Important for energy savers: We determined an increase of exactly 5 watts with an fully charged and inserted battery in every scenario. Therefore, we recorded the measurements with a removed battery. If you want to make sure that not one watt too many runs over the domestic electricity meter, you should remove the battery in stationary use. Friends of entertainment and gamers alike, are well-served with an Intel Core i5 460M (2x2.53 GHz) and an ATI HD 5650 (450MHz) in terms of performance. Gamers will shed a tear about the GPU throttling. However, that isn't necessary because the performance of a 550-MHz-HD-5650 wouldn't have been enough by far for current games with high demands in Full HD.Asus X42DE

An abundance of connections (eSATA, ExpressCard34, HDMI, two cardreaders) and a good, clearly arranged keyboard make it easy to manage your movie collection and to type your graduate thesis. Asus has built an excellent keyboard into the Lamborghini VX6. The pebble-style keys are separated from each other by a suitable distance. The arrow keys, which have often been criticized in the past, are a normal size and are relatively easy to find without looking. The Enter key and the right Shift key are a little smaller than usual, but we got used to it. The keyboard can be recommended for people who type a lot, as it doesn¡¯t make a lot of noise and the level of feedback is good.ASUS B53JR

The touchpad is clearly an integral part of the Lamborghini-style design. It is shaped like a parallelogram, ASUS B53JF with a silver border. The pad is not sensitive beyond its white corner markings, so that it is in fact normal sized. The cursor moved accurately across the desktop when we slid a finger across the very smooth plastic surface. However, we always felt a greasy film on the surface from our fingers, like we were touching the bottom of an empty tub of Nivea. ASUS B53JE

The multi-touch pad (Synaptics V7.2) can be switched on and off using a function key (F9). It recognizes two-finger gestures, such as zooming or horizontal and vertical scrolling. Traditionalists can also restore the familiar single-finger scrollbars using the touchpad software. The smooth touchpad buttons give firm tactile response but do not depress far enough. The loud click when you press them can get annoying after a while. ASUS B53JC

The glossy Hannstar screen (HSD121PHW1) did not convince us with its contrast or brightness. The colour space is also extremely small. Asus has chosen a 12.1-inch screen with a 1,366 x 768 resolution (16:9). The HD Ready resolution is appropriate given the netbook¡¯s role as a portable companion. It means you can fit in a good view of your web browser or email client, and won¡¯t have to scroll as much. ASUS B53JB

With a black level of 0.82 cd/m² we calculated a maximum contrast of 184:1. A higher contrast of more than 400:1 would have been preferable, especially for a netbook with an emphasis on entertainment. Colours do look very attractive on the screen, but this has more to do with the effect of the glossy finish. ASUS B53J

As with 95% of the laptops we review, we weren¡¯t expecting a professional-standard colour space from this Hannstar screen. Our measurements confirmed this, with Adobe RGB or sRGB not even being half-way covered. Even compared to a bog-standard office laptop display, like on the MSI CR620 (15.6-inch), the VX6 still lags behind somewhat.ASUS B53F

The screen brightness is disappointingly low. On average we measured 145 cd/m². The maximum brightness picked up by our meter was only 152 cd/m² in the lower left corner. Such a poor brightness has become very rare for notebooks and netbooks in recent years. Considering the netbook¡¯s intended portability, a brightness above 230 cd/m² would have been preferable. For indoor use the display brightness is acceptable.ASUS B53E

The 12.1-inch display is not particularly suitable for outdoor use,ASUS B53 thanks to its glossy finish (causing reflections) and the significantly below-average brightness. Even with an overcast sky, the observer can only make out a darkened picture directly in front of him. In strong sunshine the effect intensifies. From the side, we could hardly make out any colours or text. As a result, working with the VX6 in sunlight is only possible with a great deal of effort.ASUS B43Jr

Side view, sun from behind, reflectionThe horizontal viewing angles are acceptable. Up to around a 40 degree deviation from the front-on viewing position, we could still read text and there were no ghosting. But beyond that point, colours inverted extensively and the screen darkened.ASUS B43J

If your viewing position changes vertically, text stops being readable after about 25 degrees due to the darkening screen. But colours start to invert noticeably after only 15 degrees. With this screen a more or less straight-on viewing position is needed for an optimal picture.ASUS B43F

The VX6 is based on the latest in mobile chipsets and processors. ASUS B43EI The combination of a dual-core Atom D525 (2 x 1.8 GHz) and a dedicated Nvidia Ion 2 graphics card is currently right at the top of the wishlist of technophile netbook fans. ASUS B43 Whereas Nvidia provided the whole chipset with its first Ion generation at the start of 2009 (Geforce 9400M integrated into the Nvidia chipset), now the graphics processor is attached to the Intel NM10 chipset. This allows the use of Optimus technology, which Asus has promptly used in the VX6 model currently before us and in the  Eee PC 1215N, which has identical specs. More on this in our gaming section. The twin-engine Atom D525 is notable for its high TDP of 13 Watts, particularly in comparison to the Atom N550 (1.5 GHz, 8.5 Watts, mobile version). The D525 was actually designed for stationary nettops. The VX6 also comes with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250 GB hard drive by Western Digital. So do the high TDP and high speed of 1.8 GHz give you strong performance? ASUS G50VT-X2AMCompared to a single-core Atom N450/N455 or N270 (1.66 and 1.6 GHz respectively), this is most certainly the case; the D525 doubles the processing speed. The multi-core Cinebench R10 32-bit benchmark gave a score of 1,715 points for the VX6. The single-core systems we just named scored around 850 points in the same test (not including overclocked varieties). The improvement in performance is 101 per cent.ASUS G50VT-X2

Taking a look at AMD's netbook processor V series V105 (Eee PC 1015T) shows similarities in performance.ASUS G50VT-X1 The AMD single-core processor scores 1,021 points with only 1.2 GHz, admittedly in the single-core part of the Cinebench R10 32-bit benchmark. Our Lamborghini VX6 only manages 625 points. The AMD Athlon K125 (1.7 GHz) in the popular 10-inch Acer Aspire One 521 measures up even more impressively with 1,491 points.ASUS G50VT-EP024G

We can¡¯t compare the Atom D525 against the AMD V105/K125 in a multi-core benchmark, since the AMD netbook CPUs only have one real and no virtual cores. But the system benchmark PCMark Vantage can show us whether the user will be better of with a D525. In this test the VX6 scored 1,645 points.ASUS G50VT-AK097K

This result puts the D525 system on a level with the AMD K125 (Aspire One 521: 1,686 points); the V105 (Eee PC 1015T) is beaten with 1,360 points. Classic netbook systems with a single-core N450 (for example the Samsung N150 Eom) achieve 1,332 points at their best.ASUS G50VT-A2

The PCMark Vantage test gives the Ion 2 GPU a gaming subscore of 1,724 points, which feeds into the overall score. The Aspire One 521 only achieves 1,118 points in the gaming section with its weaker ATI HD 4225. The Eee PC 1015T only manages 940 points with the same GPU but a weaker CPU.ASUS G50VT-A1

As expected, we could play our FullHD test videos without juddering and with low CPU usage. HD videos from YouTube also played fluently. In short, the VX6 is a netbook with exceptionally high performance. So, multi core calculations are an outstanding strength of the 720QM. Will this lead to a very good system performance, which we determine with PCMark Vantage? In this test, the CPU, graphics, RAM and hard disk collaborate, whereby CPU and hard disk have the most impact.Asus f5r-ap028a

PCMark Vantage finishes with 5266 points. This result indicates a strong system. However, the rating is lower than in other systems with an i7-720QM. The i7-720QM provides a very good performance. Nevertheless, our data base shows that even a 13.3 incher, like the Acer Aspire 3820TG, can be stronger. The little subnotebook can accomplish 6001 PCMark Vantage points with its i5-460M, an HD 5650 and a 5400 rpm HDD (75 MB/s sequential read). The real-time strategy game is famous for its requirement of a good multi core processor. The GPU support however shouldn't be too weak, either. The N82JQ only supplies an unplayable 16 fps in maximum details and Full HD (external TFT). The Aspire 3820TG equipped with an i5-460M (13.3 inch, HD 5650) achieves 17 fps. The football game has only recently found its way into the gaming benchmarks. It's suitable for weak graphic solutions,Asus F5SL the like of HD 5470, due to its low hardware requirements. The installed GT 335M thus supplies a perfectly smooth 98 fps even in high details (1360x768). This even has enough elbowroom for an externally connected Full HD TFT. Das HP ProBook 4730s ist ein Business-Gerät, rutschte mit seiner RadeonApple M9326 HD 6490M Grafik aber in die Multimedia-Kategorie. Der 17.3-Zoller kann auf seinen 1600x900 Pixeln nur blasse Farben darstellen und die Blickwinkel sind schwach. Die hohe Anwendungsleistung mit dem Core i5 ist ziemlich gut, wird aber durch hohe Temperaturen und eine stets präsente Lautstärke erkauft. Die Laufzeit von 3:40 Stunden geht f¨¹r den 17-Zoll Formfaktor in Ordnung, das Touchpad mit den schlechten Gleit-Eigenschaften erf¨¹llt aber nicht die Erwartungen. Apple   A1012

Die Entscheidung fällt schwer, Apple M6091 denn Akoya P6812 und Samsung RC530 haben eine idente Bewertung von jeweils 81% erhalten. Das Aldi-Notebook hat mit der Geforce GT 555M die eindeutig bessere Spieleleistung, die noch nicht einmal durch den eingesetzten Core i3 ausgebremst wird. Das RC530 kostet etwas mehr, hat daf¨¹r aber das höherwertigere Gehäuse, die bessere Tastatur und den Silent-Mode. Spar-Zwang galt nicht f¨¹r den Prozessor, mit dem Core i7 2630QM ist der 17.3-Zoller f¨¹r die Zukunft gut ger¨¹stet. Trotz der hohen Leistung sind die Emissionen gering (Abwärme und Lautstärke). Die „niedrige¡° Wertung von 83% tritt auf Grund der zweitklassigen Tastatur und der wenigen Anschl¨¹sse ein. Apple M8403

Das Satellite P775-100 von Apple M8433Toshiba ist mit Nvidias 3D-Brille ausger¨¹stet. In Games oder 3D-Filmen kann die dritte Dimension also genossen werden. Leider hat der Hersteller seinem Premium-Modell (knapp 1500 Euro) denselben billigen Kunststoffmantel verpasst, wie dem baugleichen P770-10P. Die niedrige Endwertung von 79% kommt durch eine störende Lautstärke, hohe Temperaturen und vor allem durch das leuchtschwache FullHD Display zustande. Der gute Sound, der enorme Speicherplatz mit 2 x 750GB (kein RAID) und die Tasten-Beleuchtung sind zwar beachtenswerte Vorteile. F¨¹r ein DTR sind jedoch die Grafikleistung und die Qualität der Eingabegeräte zu gering.Apple   M8433G

Das Lenovo G770 gehört zur Basic-Linie des Herstellers.Apple M8956 Von Basic-Leistung kann aber nicht die Rede sein, treffen doch Core i7 2620M (Dual Core) und Radeon HD 6650M in dem 17.3-Zoller zusammen. Das Panel fasst 1600x900 Pixel, bietet aber nur flaue Kontraste, einen kleinen sRGB-Farbraum und sehr kleine Blickwinkel. Ein Sehr Gut erhalten jeweils die geringe Temperatur und die noch leisere Laustärke. Selbst beim Zocken messen wir höchstens 38 dB(A). Die Spiele-Performance kann die native Auflösung nicht ausnutzen, f¨¹r aktuelle Games in 1366x768 Pixeln reicht es aber in den meisten Fällen. Nachteilig fiel das wackelige Scharnier auf, welches f¨¹r den Formfaktor zu klein geraten ist. Apple M8956G

Das G74SX-91079V ist die Spiele-Referenz von Asus,Apple   M9337G weshalb an der Qualität der Oberflächen und an der Stabilität nicht gespart wurde. Das wuchtige und unempfindliche Gehäuse bleibt selbst unter Last recht k¨¹hl, begleitet von einer moderaten Geräuschentwicklung. Die Subwoofer gest¨¹tzte Soundanlage und das Blu-ray-Laufwerk passen ebenso ins Konzept, wie die GeForce GTX 560M und der Core i7 2630QM. Dies erlaubt aktuelle Games teilweise sogar in der nativen FullHD Auflösung mit hohen Details. Apple A1045

Medion schickt einen Gamer mit denselben CPU-GPU Komponenten wie das vorgenannten Asus G74SX ins Rennen.Apple A1078 Die Gaming-Performance liegt daher auf gleichem, sehr hohem Niveau. Die Anwendungsleistung des Erazer X6817 ist aber dank schneller Intel SSD höher. Unverständlich f¨¹r Gamer ist angesichts der GPU-Leistung die HD Auflösung mit nur 1366x768 Pixeln. Der sehr geringe Kontrast und die bescheidene Blickwinkelstabilität runden das Bild negativ ab und verstellen dem 15.6-Zoller eine bessere Wertung. Ein Sehr Gut hätte es aber ohnehin nicht werden können, zu feedbackschwach sind die Eingabegeräte und viel zu hoch ist die Lautstärke. Preislich ist die Konfiguration mit 1099 Euro aber nicht zu schlagen, ein G74SX kostet mit gleicher CPU/GPU bereits 1800 Euro. Apple   A1148

Apple E68043 Nachdem das Asus G74SX den Monats-Sieg im Juni (US-Modell) knapp verlor und an das Alienware M18x abgeben musste, kommt der 17.3-Zoller jetzt zu seinen Lorbeeren.
